Overview

Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo was founded durring the late 11th century, by Erchoril. The establishment of Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.

Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo is buildings have been located at convienant points along the valley Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the crampt packed earth streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The city's political statment focused walls have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the city.

Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.

Cultural Notes

Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

History

A vast influx of newcomers over the last 3 years has greatly spiked Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo's population. They may have been drawn by economic opportunities, or fled some pursuing peril, or been forcibly moved there by a ruler who wanted to dilute the existing native cohesion. The natives may not have the resources or opportunities to integrate these newcomers, and it may be that the new population has no desire to stay longer than is necessary.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century a local hero by the name of solved a major long term problem plaguing the town. One of Chyameya Vâchæ Kuyo's festivals remembers the hero.
